Purely Blu is hard to beat on value for how well she is outfitted: cooling systems, storage, and overall layout a step above most Lagoons in this price range. And we are not the only ones who think so, she took Runner Up Best in Show at the USVI Yacht Show 2024.
The real highlight is the crew: American Captain Brad Needham and Chef Zoe Gahan, who go out of their way to show you the real BVI they know so well. Water sports, exploring ashore, or lounging onboard, they tailor the week to whatever the group is in the mood for, and they love sharks, happily getting you up close with these fantastic beasts.

Deborah Anne is on this list mainly for her incredible crew. Guests consistently rave about how Captain Liam Wilson and Chef Keagan van Blerk run the yacht: attentive, fun, and with excellent knowledge of the BVI’s best spots, striking just the right balance between professional and relaxed.
The boat brings a different design to the table too. A Bali 4.8 is more floating villa than traditional catamaran: the signature garage door opens the main saloon completely to the aft deck into one spacious, breezy living area, the foredeck trampolines are replaced by a solid lounging deck, and the flybridge offers both shade and open sky.

We stepped aboard Andiamo at the BVI Yacht Show 2024 for a walkthrough and crew interview, and were welcomed by Captain Juan and Chef Rochi, whose passion for what they do is palpable. Their partnership is the heart of this boat.
The toys really deliver: paddleboards, snorkeling, waterskis, kneeboards, kiteboarding, the ever-popular Seabobs, and fishing gear ready and waiting, with foiling lessons under Juan’s patient guidance a guest favorite. The layout is classic Leopard 50, suiting families, couples, or groups of friends, and the cabins are immaculate, down to little touches like the daily quote cards on the beds.
The cuisine is where Rochi shines: healthy, creative meals tailored to individual dietary needs, with guest feedback so consistently glowing that one visitor rated her food above their own restaurant’s back home. We left impressed and wishing we could stay longer. Highly recommend.
7. MYSTIC
“The Most Booked Boat on This List”
MYSTIC is perfect for active families who want to make the most of the water: a genuinely luxurious floating apartment with great space and newly updated systems throughout, built in 2023 with four cabins for eight guests.
No boat here has our clients’ vote more clearly. Our brokers have booked her seven times, including Christmas and New Year weeks, and she had a standout season last year. She is already filling up fast for the year ahead, so it pays to inquire early.
6. EMYSA
“Bathrobes, a Pizza Oven, and S’mores Under the Stars”
EMYSA welcomes you aboard with Thai-inspired snacks, a cold drink, and a warm tour, and the little touches keep coming all week: a branded bathrobe and slippers waiting in every cabin, movie nights with a projector, pizza from the flybridge oven, and s’mores around the fire pit under the stars. When we walked her, she had the feel of a much larger luxury catamaran.
The super-protected foredeck lounge is perfect for morning coffee, and the master cabin is a real highlight: spacious, with an espresso machine and a massive en-suite bathroom. With three cabins for six guests and an energetic crew, she is a lovely fit for two or three couples or a family with kids.
5. ALTESSE
“The Champagne Deck That Gets You to Anegada Every Week”
ALTESSE is a high-end dive boat with an energetic, professional American crew who make it out to Anegada every week, perfect for diving the reef, feasting on fresh lobster, and a beach-club happy hour. Her standout champagne deck at the stern is unlike anything we have seen, and most dinners happen up on the flybridge.
Movie nights come with a projector and truffle popcorn, the cabins include bunk beds for kids, and the interior feels cozy and personal, like home. Four cabins take eight guests. For groups who want the BVI’s famous outer reef without compromise, she is the pick.
4. ULTRA
“The Crew That Has Sailed Together for 16 Years”
ULTRA feels far bigger than 63 feet, with a spacious flybridge and foredeck and a warm, cozy-meets-luxurious style, think knitted blankets alongside sleek decor. We have called her one of the nicest power catamarans in the BVI, and our brokers have booked her five times across the last two seasons, including Christmas and New Year weeks.
The heart of it is the crew: Captain Kyle Foglesong and Chef Jessica Dillow have sailed together for over 16 years and it shows. Kyle leads the snorkeling trips and mixes a mean cocktail, while Jessica’s hospitality makes every guest feel like family. Four cabins take eight guests.

“Serious Energy, Diving Included”
DO MORE is the boat for fun, active charters. Her crew brings serious energy and a genuine focus on guest activities, water sports, hiking, beach games, and lively social dinners, plus a Bloody Mary worth writing home about; the stewardess even holds a mixology certification. Diving is included, and a recent refresh has her looking high-end and better than ever.
Five cabins for up to 10 guests make her one of the few boats at this rate that takes a bigger group properly, and a third crew member has lifted the service another notch. Our brokers have her booked into 2027, so inquire early.
2. ADEA
“A True Floating Beach House”
ADEA is a true floating beach house: white interior, light furniture, teak decks, kept in mint condition after a recent refit. The three-person crew includes a stewardess with superyacht experience and a chef trained by a Michelin-starred chef, and the toy list runs from Seabobs to e-foils and wing foils.
Captain Luka is a dive master who loves sailing her at up to 14 knots, with favorite stops at the Indians, the Rhone, and Dog Island. This well-priced Fountaine Pajot 59, fresh off her first charter season, has recently sailed around the world with her owners, proof of an excellent vessel. She is spacious and beautifully laid out: flybridge lounge, foredeck lounge, aft al fresco dining, a big swim platform, and a huge main saloon.
The crew, Brian and Jessi, are the stars of the show. Brian’s itineraries mix the BVI’s secret corners with legends like the Soggy Dollar Bar and Bitter End, adventurous and perfectly paced, while Jessi’s cooking makes guests stop mid-bite, even with picky eaters and strict dietary needs. Guests repeatedly praise how the two make Ohana feel like family.
