Onboard visit

Onboard ZALIV III in Nafplion, a 50m Mondomarine semi-displacement motor yacht. A very proven 2011 build with a real big-ship feel. More traditional, classic interior rather than ultra-contemporary, but that suits her. She feels established, solid, and properly superyacht.

One of the biggest selling points is that she effectively gives you two master-level suites. The forward main-deck VIP is as big as most master cabins on a yacht this size, so this works very well for two strong couples or two principals onboard. Then the grand master on the bridge deck feels even more private, with direct access out to its own aft deck and one of the bigger offices I have seen. The four-poster bed adds a slightly old-school grandeur, which actually fits the yacht very well.

There is also a dedicated massage room behind the bridge, and a masseuse on staff. Again, this is very much a proper full-service superyacht.

The sundeck is built for entertaining on a bigger scale. Two large dining tables that can be combined for big groups, a full-service sit-down bar, a lounge, and then aft a large jacuzzi for 8 guests. At that point, what more do you need?

And a funny detail I genuinely loved: the dining table in the main saloon flips and becomes a huge backgammon board. You can also play poker and roulette here. Even in the master office, the backgammon and poker chips are branded with the yacht’s name. Small thing, but it gives her personality.
