His career encompasses roles from skipper and first mate to captain on prestigious yachts such as the Sunreef 70 Catamaran SEAZEN II, the classic William Fife & Son IRINA VII, and the CNB 76 SYBILLA. He has also commanded the Lagoon 620 PRIVILEGE and participated in the operation of the Beneteau 57 and Nautitech 47. Edouard's experience includes multiple transatlantic crossings, private and luxury charters, as well as participation in high-profile regattas like the Voiles de Saint-Tropez and the Antigua Sailing Week aboard various renowned vessels. His comprehensive knowledge of yacht operations, strong technical background, and adeptness at leading multi-crew teams make him an accomplished captain, ensuring seamless and memorable charters for guests.



Job Description

Edouard is responsible for the safe navigation and overall management of the yacht, overseeing daily operations, crew coordination, and guest experience. His duties include ensuring compliance with maritime regulations, maintaining high safety standards, and fostering a positive and cohesive onboard atmosphere. Robin Juguet - First Mate - French



Sail & Work Experience

Robin is a highly experienced sailor with extensive experience as both second mate and captain. He has captained several transatlantic crossings and extensive charters in the Mediterranean, the Caribbean, and northern Europe. His recent experience includes acting as second capitain on the Sunreef 70 ONE PLANET and captaining vessels such as AJACCIO, GRAND SOLEIL and REVE DE NAV. Robin's responsibilities also have included overseeing the maintenance and preparation of the boats for transatlantic voyages. In his free time he enjoys scuba diving, kite surfing and running.



Job Description

Robin has the expertise required to stand in for the captain in his absence, acting in an important role for deckhand duties. He assists the captain during navigation and participates in all on-deck operations, respecting guests’ activities. He has extensive knowledge of the maintenance of sailing yachts and is responsible for the running of deck equipment and machinery.

Sonia Marchand - Chef - French



Sail & Work Experience

Sonia has extensive experience working aboard various yachts, where she has served as a cook, hostess, and mate on vessels ranging from 50 to 70 feet. She has cooked for charters and private cruises for up to 12 passengers in multiple locations, including the Mediterranean, Caribbean, and Pacific. Her skills include creating tailored menus based on guests' preferences and dietary needs, and she is adept at working with fresh, local ingredients while accommodating specific dietary restrictions like gluten and lactose intolerance. In addition to her culinary expertise, she is also well-versed in sailing, and enjoys activities such as diving and cooking classes around the world.



Job Description

As the Chef, Sonia is responsible for the crew and guest meals throughout the charter, ensuring that the food is enjoyable, the interior of the yacht is clean and serviceable and that all dietary requirements are met. She is a creative cook, providing a variety flavours in her dishes and cooking meals that correspond to the location of LA LOÉVIE, ensuring there is as much relevance as possible to the country being visited.
