Variable expenses — fuel, food, marina fees — are deducted from an Advance Provisioning Allowance (APA), an additional deposit added to the charter price. The remainder is returned after charter.

Alexis holds a Captain’s A' Diploma from the Merchant Marine Academy of Aspropyrgos. He joined yachting in 1991, following his service on cargo carriers. With a strong work ethic and professionalism, Captain Alexis ensures that the guests will enjoy their charter onboard. He has gained extensive knowledge of the hidden gems of the Mediterranean Sea that will amaze our guests, all while ensuring their safety and comfort on board. Speaks Greek and English.

Fotis Koskinas
Fotis holds a Captain Class B Certificate as well as sailing and speed boat operator license. He commenced a career at sea in 2008, serving on various passengers and bulk carriers, before joined yachting industry. He also holds STCW, lifeguarding and rescue diver certificates. Fotis is for the 2nd year onboard having a wide experience and skills that make him a valuable member of Gelly crew! In his free time, he enjoys music and traveling. Speaks: Greek, English.

Stelios Prassas
Stelios holds an Engineer Class B diploma from the Academy Marine Engineer of Aspropyrgos and Certificates in lifesaving and firefighting appliances, ship security and high-speed craft. Before joining yachting, Stelios counted years of experience near the sea, working on passenger vessels and bulk carriers. He works with passion, will ensure the yacht’s optimal performance. In his free time, he likes traveling. Speaks Greek and English.
George Vlachos
George has graduated from Le Monde School as a Chef and has worked in various restaurants and hotels before joining the yachting world. Whether he has to prepare Greek, Italian, French or Japanese meals, his talent is right there! He will successfully blend fresh ingredients to prepare the guests' meals and with attention to detail. He can furthermore prepare vegetarian meals as well as any other special diet dishes! In his free timre, he enjoys swimming, traveling and going to the cinema. Dimitra Tzani
Dimitra holds a degree in Business Administration and Merchant after graduating from the University of Bologna. She has furthermore completed the Silver Service training and Wine and Champagne Service. She has excellent communication and prioritisation skills! Dimitra will warmly welcome the guests onboard and will guarantee an unforgettable stay onboard. When not working, she likes traveling. Speaks: Greek, English and Italian. Tingzon Joann Umanito
Tingzon joined the yachting industry 10 years ago with great love for her work. She has a genuine smile and kind character and will work hard to make sure that the guests will be fully pampered onboard! She is an important member of the Gelly team as she is responsible for the guests' daily needs. In her free time, she enjoys listening to music and travelling. Speaks English.
Allona Bianca Merelos
Allona has a kind character and a welcoming personality. She has recently joined Gelly with great enthusiasm for her job. With creative decoration ideas, Allona will add her personal touch to the daily table set up! In her free time she enjoys traveling. Speaks English.
Mirasol Paolo
Paolo counts six years of previous experience working both in private and charter yachts with love for his job. This is his 2nd year onboard Gelly and he is a very important member of the crew who will assist the captain in the yacht's daily operations. When not working, he likes travelling. Speaks English.

The captain of GELLY discusses the yacht's recent refit, its Greek heritage, and popular cruising destinations like Syros and Mykonos.
This boat is a Greek boat since 1992, and we made a refit two years ago. Totally refit everything. We have new generators, we have new engines, and the crew is very perfect.
