Captain interview

Captain Giorgos on Elly's performance and fuel efficiency

Captain Giorgos discusses Elly's engine specifications, maximum cruising speed, and fuel consumption at various speeds, highlighting its impressive range and efficiency.

In this video

We have a maximum cruising speed about 18 knots, but in this speed we have a consumption about 200 liters per hour, both engines. Still very reasonable.
Captain Giorgos0:11

If I go with lesser EVs, let's say in a speed about 10 knots, I can have a consumption less than 50 liters per hour. That's amazing.

Captain's insights on ELLY's speed, range, and water treatment

The captain discusses ELLY's cruising capabilities, fuel efficiency, and advanced water purification system, highlighting the benefits of a power catamaran for charter guests.

In this video

We can go faster, we can have more time for the clients on the power boat because if you arrive in a place faster, you will have more time spending in a nice bay.
Captain0:23

This boat we have installed a special treatment for the water that we take from the dock, also from the water maker, with the filters, with a softener, with a sterilizer.
Captain0:37

The funny thing is that from 1995 I always was on sailing boats. I am also a sailing instructor, and since 2022, I was only on sailing boats, and finally I decided to try this power cat.
