Sail and Work Experience Marta loves working on the water – she has been sailing since she was a child and has been in the marine sector for more than 14 years. Since the age of 18, Marta has worked for different sailing schools along the Catalonian Coast. She has taught sailing to people of all levels across 3 different languages. Her sailing, communication, and people skills are impeccable. She is even the director of a sailing school on Isla Saboga (Panama), where she manages and coordinates groups of up to 80 students’ water activities, accommodation, and meals. In 2023, Marta commenced her yacht charter career as a deckhand & hostess onboard Princess V65 motor yacht LAYA. She is thrilled to now be CIUTADELLA’s stewardess for the 2024 charter season! Job Description Marta is responsible for organization, management, and cleanliness of all interiors. She maintains an accurate inventory of all service items and supplies. She ensures cleaning and preparation of the vessel to the highest standards prior to all guest trips. In charge of vessel provisioning for both guests and crew, and all aspects of daily life. When guests are onboard, she ensures they are properly cared for and that all their requirements are met. She offers a particular attention to details and a polite and entertaining spirit.
