The main attractions of CARPE DIEM are her elegant profile and alfresco dining areas. She was completed by recognized shipbuilder Intermarine in 2001. An elegant refit was delivered in 2024. The well-planned yacht layout features 3 generous cabins and easily accommodates a group of 6 guests.

Safety has always been his first priority to assure the yacht, crew and guests are cared for while under his watchful eye. Captain Van runs a first-class operation. First Mate/Deck Hand: Elliot Burren Born in England and raised on the coast of Maine in the US, Elliot got his first permanent job on CARPE DIEM one year ago and thoroughly enjoys working with guests and all of the activities and perfecting his skills with the use of all water toys aboard. Elliot first honed his yachting skills as a Lobsterman off the waters Maine and this brought him to the warmer climate of South Florida. His love of yachting shows through while taking care of his guests aboard. We welcome Elliot to CARPE DIEM. Stewardess: Kate Pruess Kate is a mid-western girl from Omaha Nebraska. She decided to pursue a career in yachting and jumped in head first. Kate’s uses her bubbly personality to interact with the charter guests and make sure their safety and all needs are fulfilled.
