Nikos Giamalakis

Captain

Nikos was born in Athens and has spent the past several years as a Captain on both sailing and motor yachts, guiding guests on day trips and extended vacation cruises. His maritime journey began at a young age, and his passion for sailing only grew stronger over time. This enthusiasm led him to become a professional sailing coach at yacht clubs and in Olympic classes, amassing over 5,000 nautical miles in races since 1998. Nikos’ extensive experience working with children as a coach has honed his natural leadership skills. He is known for his innovative thinking, excellent communication, and problem-solving abilities. With a warm smile and a firm handshake, he welcomes passengers aboard Aether. Nikos is a native Greek speaker and is also fluent in English.

Raluca Maria Sălăgean

Stewardess/Deckhand

Raluca, born in Romania in 1982, brings a wealth of diverse experiences to her role as the stewardess/deckhand aboard AETHER. With a degree in Journalism, she seamlessly transitioned into customer service roles across various cafes, restaurants, and hotels since 2006. Her most recent venture took her to the picturesque waters of Santorini, where she served as a hostess on a catamaran. Fluent in English, Greek, French, Spanish, and Italian, Raluca excels in catering to guests’ needs with spontaneity and creativity. Her attention to detail and tireless dedication, coupled with problem-solving abilities honed through her tenure as a tourism specialist, ensure exceptional service on board. She is organized, possesses great management abilities, and has a strong team spirit, all of which add significant value to her role aboard AETHER.
