Who is Joe-Louis?
Joe-Louis Marques grew up diving and fishing along the Southern African coast with his father, and that early time in the water is what led him into yachting. Most of his sea experience since has been in the Mediterranean, which is where his practical read on cruising grounds, onboard dynamics and charter logistics comes from.
He works from Cape Town and books internationally, dealing directly with central agencies, captains and suppliers. He describes himself as a problem-solver and project manager, and it shows in how the charters run: detailed, clearly communicated, and organised from the first enquiry through to the last day aboard.
