Plus Expenses arrangement — boat and crew only, without tip.
All prices generated as a guide. Availability subject to confirmation. Gratuity discretionary, typically 5%–25% of the base price.
Variable expenses — fuel, food, marina fees — are deducted from an Advance Provisioning Allowance (APA), an additional deposit added to the charter price. The remainder is returned after charter.

Mark Barter
Captain
South African Sail and work experience Mark is a seasoned captain with extensive experience on luxury yachts. Starting his career at sea, he worked as a deckhand aboard S/Y ENTERPRISE then as a technician and First Mate aboard S/Y MARIE JOSEPH. He has since gained vast experience in the role of captain aboard Sunreef vessels: working as a relief captain for M/Y ATHENA TOO, captain for S/Y MARIE JOSEPH and in his most recent role he worked as the relief captain abord SEAZEN II herself- meaning he is more than familiar with her workings. He therefore is proficient in navigation, mooring operations, safety protocol, and crew management. His diverse experience, leadership skills, and commitment to professionalism make him an asset to any maritime operation. Job Description Mark oversees the navigation, general operations, and financial management of the vessel, as well as the well-being and safety of both the crew and guests. He maintains the yacht's efficient functioning at all times, ensuring strict compliance with hazard protocols and regulations. He further takes care of adhering to flag regulations, port state laws, and local regulations, managing the crew to guarantee full comprehension and compliance with the vessel's policies. In delegating tasks and supervising the crew's activities, he fosters teamwork and personalised growth. Reece Reynders
Deckhand
South African Sail and Work Experience Growing up in KZN Umhlanga along the coast of East Africa, Reece fell in love with the ocean from a young age. He has gained hands-on experience working as a deckhand aboard M/Y MR M and S/Y QUERENCIA as well as prepping M/Y AURA, M/Y ARADOS and M/Y HURRICAINE for charter. In these roles he has been required to carry out duties such as docking procedures, manual steering and over 70 hours of solo night watch. He further has proficient experience in hospitality, notably working aboard M/Y ARADOS where he bartended for 3 days during a charter for over 100 guests. His passion for the water is not restricted to his work and in his free time he enjoys scuba diving and snorkelling. Reece’s commitment to hard work and enthusiasm makes him a reliable and passionate member of the crew. Job Description Reece has the expertise required to stand in for Captain in his absence, acting as second in command. He assists the Captain during navigation and participates in all on-deck operations, respecting guest’s activities. Silvia Latini
Stewardess
Italian Sail and work experience Silvia worked as a Marketing Manager for 6 years before her passion for the ocean and travelling the world pushed her to change her career path. It has now been 4 years since she started working seasonally on yachts as a stewardess, deckhand, chef, and nanny. Silvia’s most recent charter project was working as a chef and first mate on board the Jeanneau 64 sailing yacht EXPERIENCES for 10 months. Before that, Silvia was a chef, stewardess, and children’s tutor on board the Outremer 51 sailing yacht BLACK MAMBA for a Spanish family of 5 who were sailing around the world. Silvia is a responsible person who always approaches life with a positive attitude. With a high level of organisation, she works well individually, but is also a strong team player and enjoys working with others. Outside of work, Silvia’s interests include photography, surfing, reading, freediving, and, of course, travelling. Job Description Silvia is responsible for organization, management and cleanliness of all interiors. She maintains an accurate inventory of all service items and supplies. She ensures cleaning and preparation of the vessel to the highest standards prior to any and all guest trips. In charge of vessel provisioning for both guests and crew, and all aspects of daily life. When guests are onboard, she ensures they are properly cared for and that all their requirements are met. Vincent Masetto
Chef
French Sail and work experience Working in both the Mediterranean and the Caribbean, Vincent has had a plethora of experience working as a chef aboard luxury yachts. He has worked on board over 7 yachts from S/Y INOUI where he catered for 4 guests, to M/Y UPSTREAM where he catered for 12. Before starting his career at sea, he also spent 20 years working for gourmet and brasserie-style restaurants as well as enrolling in the navy as a sailor and chef. Job Description As the Chef, Vincent is responsible for the crew and guest meals throughout the charter, ensuring that the food is enjoyable, the interior of the yacht is clean and serviceable, and that all dietary requirements are met. He is a creative cook, varying her meals to provide variety and according to the location of SEAZEN II, to have as much relevance as possible to the region being visited.
